I hate sounding repetitive. As I stated last week, I think this was one of the more useful courses in this master's program. Things I can use in the classroom as well as in my personal life:
- I love Flickr as a way for others to enjoy my photography which has become a great stress relieving outlet for me.
- Delicious will be great for me as an elementary teacher to bookmark sites that my kids can use. It takes a long time for kids to find sites that are useful and readable for them and we have limited time on the computers so this will help in both ways.
- I am still thinking about making the suggestion to the head of our English department about setting up a ning or wiki for each grade level to use for ideas and issues with the new reading series. A place where we can present plans that worked or didn't work.
- I find myself, even with little time, checking the Twitter site each day just because it is fun to see what is going on with people outside of work.
- Google Reader is a great way for me to check on some really interesting blogs on photography that I found. I love to see what others are taking pictures of.
I also enjoyed looking at all the other Web2.0 tools that are out there. I was quite overwhelmed by the number of them in so many categories. The other amazing thing is that number is growing every day.
This is my blog for my Cardinal Stritch Masters Program.
